Uplift Studio was created with one simple goal: to help people feel stronger, more confident, and genuinely supported on their fitness journey.

Founded by personal trainer Tom Billson, Uplift is more than just a gym. It’s a welcoming space built around progress, balance, and community. Whether you’re training 1:1, taking part in a small group session, or following one of our hybrid or online programs, everything we do is designed to make fitness work for your life, not the other way around.

After years of coaching hundreds of clients across Kent, Tom wanted to create a place that combined expert training with a positive, uplifting atmosphere. The result is Uplift Studio, a modern training space where everyone is encouraged to grow at their own pace and celebrate every win, big or small.

Personal Training

1:1 Personal Training

Personal Training at Uplift Studio is built around one thing: real progress. This is structured, goal-driven coaching in a private, focused environment where every session has purpose. You are not turning up to “just train”. You are following a clear plan designed specifically for you.

Every programme is tailored to your goals, current fitness level, injury history and lifestyle. Whether you want to build strength, lose body fat, improve confidence or simply feel better in yourself, your training is mapped out with progression built in. We track your lifts, monitor your performance and adjust your programme as you improve, so you are always moving forward.

Sessions take place in our fully equipped boutique studio, giving you access to high-quality strength and conditioning equipment in a calm, supportive setting. There are no crowds, no waiting for machines and no guesswork. Just focused coaching, proper technique and the right level of push at the right time.

Personal training also includes guidance outside of the sessions. You will receive support around nutrition, daily habits, mindset and accountability to make sure the work you do in the studio translates into real-life results. This is about building strength physically and mentally, creating consistency and developing a standard for yourself that lasts long after the session ends.

Online Training

Online Coaching

Uplift Studio Online Coaching is built for people who want structure, accountability and real progress, without needing to commit to multiple in-person sessions each week. This is not a generic programme or a downloadable PDF. It is personalised coaching designed around your goals, your lifestyle and your schedule, giving you clarity, direction and a clear path forward.

Every client receives a fully tailored training programme delivered through our coaching app, built around your experience level, preferences and the equipment you have access to. You will also have studio access at Uplift Studio to follow your programme in a focused, professional environment, using the same high-quality equipment as our personal training clients. Your training follows a structured progression model, meaning you are not just exercising, you are building measurable strength, fitness and confidence over time.

Alongside training, you will receive practical nutrition and habit guidance centred around sustainability. That means support with calories, protein, food quality and daily routines, without extreme dieting or unrealistic rules. Weekly check-ins allow us to review your progress, make adjustments and keep you accountable, while ongoing messaging support ensures you are never left second-guessing what to do next.

Online coaching at Uplift Studio goes beyond workouts. It is about creating consistency, improving mindset and building habits that last. With structured programming, direct support and access to the studio to execute your plan properly, you get the accountability of coaching with the flexibility to train on your terms.

Fitness Class

Classes

Classes at Uplift Studio are designed to give you structure, energy and community, without losing the quality of coaching. These are not overcrowded, chaotic sessions where you are left to figure things out yourself. Every class is coached properly, capped in size and programmed with purpose.

Whether it is strength-focused sessions like Ladies That Lift, higher tempo circuits, lower body strength or mobility-based sessions such as yoga, each class follows a clear structure and progression. You will be guided on technique, encouraged to challenge yourself at the right level and supported in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

The focus is simple: train properly, feel strong and leave better than you walked in. Classes are ideal for those who enjoy the group atmosphere, want accountability and energy, but still value good coaching and attention to detail.
